In PBN H+K Strategies’ Moscow-based Government & Public Affairs team, Pavel provides strategic counsel to clients across a number of sectors. He advises on Russian political decision-making, crisis management, regulatory developments and alignment of business strategy with government priorities. Heading up PBN H+K Strategies’ Public Affairs offerings, he helps clients to adapt their business and communications to bring them into line with those of other stakeholders and wider public policy priorities.
Pavel has more than 20 years of experience in government and public relations with Russian and international companies in a wide range of industries: digital technologies & pay TV (Tricolor), development (Samolet Group), pulp and paper industry (IlimGroup), dairy products (Danone Russia), beer and soft drinks (Baltika Breweries, part of the Carlsberg Group), energy and metallurgy (RAO UES of Russia and Rusal).
Prior to joining the PBN Hill+Knowlton Strategies team, he was Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Pavel graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University with a degree in Journalism. He is fluent in Russian and English.
